    I LOOSE ABOUT 1/4 LITRE BETWEEN OIL CHANGES , I DONT NO IF THIS IS GOOD OR BAD BUT MY CAR IS RUNNING OK. IVE GONE THROUGH A FEW ENGINES IN THE LAST 4 YRS AND I'D SAY IF YOU ARE LOOSING ANY MORE THAN THAT THEN GET IT CHECKED ASAP

    I've been going about about 2 litres between oil changes excludng the disaster with the cracked head which dumped most of the oil into the coolant system. On the twintrubo.net forums they talk about half a litre every 1000 miles which seems to ties up with my consumption but since they are not very bright on that side of the pond I'm not too sure I can trust their figures.
