Tappet sound.

Im hearing tapped noise, from my engine, just one side. Its goes over 2000rpm, but I can hear it as the revs come back to tick over.

I have done an oil change. 5-40. Is that too thin?

Give it a run.

150.000 is alot of miles for oil that thin you may be better off with a slightly thicker oil but change every 3000 miles.

maybe 10-40 or 15-40

mine has done 90.000 i have 10-40 in it.

Use 10/60 oil, has a good temperature range for the Zed.

Not to thick same as 10/40, the 10 denotes the lower temperature range, and the 60 denotes the upper. So its good from cold as 10/40 but better when things get hot.

Leigh.

ps:- I use Millers 10/60.
