After quite a while getting all kind of things sorted, finally the GTR is back in the sun in the new skin!

I like to thanks the following people for helping me getting the car back up and running:

Marshall @ MnM Engineering: General servicing and just getting anything done (from changing engine oil to dropping the gearbox!)

Greg @ ProTuner: Awesome Mapping using the HKS Fcon V Pro 3.0 that most HKS PowerWriter refuse to use or say can no longer be mapped.

Great Job and proves that sometime you just need the right person to get what you have in the car working!

Dixon @ DMS Racing: Painting the wheels and wings red... Looks awesome and matching the paint to the vinyl colour was not a easy job.

Paul @ SharpSign: Getting the vinyl done in VERY SHORT NOTICE!!!

So here are the result and the new look for 2011. :)

Been a long time without driving the GTR, sure feels good to be behind the steering wheel again.

Will bring up more details later and the goal this year is to chase after the ever eluding 10 seconds quarter mile along with testing a few new things!

Hope to see you guys at a show / meet sometime in the near future. :)

Thanks Guys... glad to see the car in the flesh to be honest...

Been way too long.

Looks awesome mate. Meister R brakes?? Rebranded D2/ksports?

Nope, no where near.

These were prototype brakes and they won't be produced as they are now too expensive.

These are Liquid-Metal (L.M.) Forged Calipers using T2024 aluminum.

These are much stronger than Die-Cast or CNC Calipers.

They are pretty much in line to high-end brand such as Project Mu / Endless Brakes, but the cost have increased too much now and it is threading right into AP Racing categories...

So as much as it pains me to have already paid for the tooling and testing... I cut the project as it is no longer a marketable products.

Still good brakes and I use them myself... just too expensive to offer them to the public realistically.

Fair enough :) Shame u had to stop making them, what sort of cost would they have come in at? Always a market for highend stuff even if you dont shift that many!

I only say, because they look identical (on the outside at least!) to my D2's thats all :)

omg beautiful probably the best r32 ive ever seen so different yet so in line with factory what sorta power is it? colour is perfect too. and those brakes mouth watering.

Nice one Jerrick!!

You must have spent a fortune on that gear set in the end?

Fancy another race on the M4??!! (Not exceeding the speed limit obviously officer!!!)

There are a few sign that they are different, but only to the really trained eye.

Realistically, something around the £1800 a pair... so it is pretty expensive.

On the bright side, always cool to have my own brakes. :clown:

700bhp when it got off the dyno.

Still need to get a full power graph on a Dynapack because the DynoDynamic couldn't dyno it.

4th gear is too long for the speed, and 3rd gear just wheel spin on the dyno.

Don't even get me started on it... lol

But it is working now so I am sure as hell going to abuse it now that it is "perfect".

Not sure if I really like this or not, there are bits I do and bits I don't. I know everyone else is bowing down, but (I'm not saying no one else has, Baz has had one for a start) I've had one of these and I never was that keen on the widebody kits, or the carbon fibre "stick on" bits. I'm sure the spec is very impressive mechanically, just the bodykit is not to my taste, sorry :(

I'm all for subtle mods, but the ones on this are just a bit too lairy for me.

A couple of pictures of mine as it was below, same colour, but very subtle.

That did kill me.

With that said, everyone got their own style and preference so all is cool.

I don't expect a car like mine to be everyone cup of tea... but I do smile everytime I look at it so that is good enough for me. :)

I think the detail is fantastic on the bonnet, the rear wing and the pin stripe - its just those wheels. I think a hint of colour with maybe a black rim (something a little more toned down, basically) would do no harm at all. But full on red/orange is a bit bright. But then, there's no point having a car like that if you're a shrinking violet!

Regardless, its your car - if it makes you happy to paint it poo brown, then that is your right to do so! In fact.. Poo brown skyline...
