I'll start by saying yes I know there is a search function lol...

I'm guessing its not the targas, and the A/C has been deleted.

Did it twice the other day - once on a spirited take off and once round a corner, yellowy horrible water started pissing into the passenger footwell.

Does this sound like it could be the matrix? And how would I check to find out? :whistling:

cheers for any input!

radiator took a kettle full of water... but I haven't checked the level since I bought the car if I'm honest

Either the heater matrix, though that's usually joined with like a curry smell, or could be that you have a blockage and rain water is getting into your heater motor from under the front scuttle panel

thanks Ian, theres no funny smell as such, the LH scuttle is broken and the front half is missing, that may contribute to it lol

If it's your heater matrix, it's a bitch if a job. Never forget doing it on mine. Keep a close eye on your radiator level, overheating your engine could give you other bigger problems.

well done .. that must of been a bitch to do

nope not at all the hardest thing was undoing the screw from the engine bulkhead side, actually i found it fairly straight forward.

thats like doing turbos with the engine in lol

thats somthing i would always take the engine out for, just so i could clean it :)

the first time i replaced a matrix i was advised to remove dash so ive done it ever since lol

not a bad job just takes a bit of time..
