Someone please buy this so I dont!

My last car was great, loved the colour, interior, and it was a twin turbo manual. Only things i didnt like on it were the rust as it was a UK car, the 18" wheels made buying tyres expensive, and the exhaust a touch loud. But this rectifies all of these shortfalls!

If its as rust and dent free as the seller says it is (which is believable seeing its only been in the country for 7 years, and the low mileage suggests it was sensibly garaged over winter) and its got good service history, then surely its a good bet!

Screw the flat buying, i want this!

I wouldn't buy a car of that age - 1990.. Its one of the oldest zeds available. It might look nice, but vintage clocks look nice too. Doesn't mean they keep good time.

If you were seriously considering buying a 350z or an s15 silvia, both of these cars would cost a lot more than 3,200. Why not spend the same money on a zed and get one you know the engine won't grenade after 6 months of ownership? There's no such thing as a cheap sportscar. They either cost a lot new, or cost a lot to maintain. Or both.

OK, this example might be as advertised and a real gem of a car - but after what happened last time, I'm surprised you'd even consider it.

Stick the money in bricks and mortar - house prices will soon be on the up again.

On the face of it it looks ok but in the second picture there seems to be a dent on the sill where they normally rust. It could just be a reflection in the photo or something, but it makes me wonder.

Since you were looking at S15's and 350z's, why not go for a later model SWB 300zx TT manual, rather than an older LWB TT

Is it even a 1990 with the seatbelts not on the doors? Or is that a mod he has done?

It says he fitted a Series 3 interior.

Which means :

Suede trim

Two electric seats

Leather arm rests on doors

belts on Doors

My only concern would be to inspect the work done for fitting the belts. There is no threaded hole in place, so it should have a threaded plate welded in place if done properly.

Its only series 3 seats though as I read it?

"Interior - black leather/grey suede + black leather seats from series 3."

Asked him about it so will see what he says

"black leather/grey suede" = series 3 door and dash trim.
