July 28, 201114 yr Hi peeeps! I have bought these for my Z for when the engine rebuild is finished: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230506632347 Is this all I need to decat my TT Fairlady?? Or is the wrong thing I've bought? Do I need anything else? I have a 2.5" twin exhaust system for the backs though. :online2long:
July 28, 201114 yr I've got these on my TT, It's not so much the engine it's more the gearbox. Some of the pipes may foul on the autobox oil pan. Nothing that a bit of fettling won't fix though. It will remove the cats and you should be able to connect your 2.5" with out problems.
July 28, 201114 yr Do you already have replacement downpipes (turbo elbows) ? If not then this is a better buy : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-300ZX-Z32-TURBO-CAT-DECAT-DOWNPIPE-EXHAUST-/230640490579?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item35b33e9853
July 28, 201114 yr Author No, no downpipes, that was the bit that was confusing me. Thought I needed them? Bit of a dark area when coming to do an exhaust, there's too much vague literature out there and if people selling things don't get things listed right, then you're left to believe the wrong info lol Oh well, thanks Steams 'n' Yowser ;-)
July 29, 201114 yr They'll go straight onto your original turbo elbows mate, then to your cat-back, some people have small fitting issues due to the sump/oil pan on the auto box being in the way, but not everyone...
