Get Gio to link you to Rustmaster in Cheshire/Chester/Somewhere out West, they do Waxoyl, the proper stuff and it's not too expensive, I need to get myself there too shortly.

Jeff at Zedworld does a good service as well

If you're Wednesfield it's only a short trip for you to Zedworld

Aye - Zedworld did mine for about 60-80 quid if I remember. Even if it only lasts a couple of years - its still good value.

Other thing you could do is paint the bottom of the car and arches with bitumen. Second thoughts - just take it to Zedworld!

There you go, crap website, is more expensive than ZedWorld and I've never used either company for anything, so can't comment on that side of things. The only thing I can say I found more appealing, was that rustmaster use actual Waxoyl and are apparently the only licensed commercial company to apply it in the UK. After speaking with them, I think it was £390 per car, which you can spread across instalments and the latest Waxoyl stuff claims to even seep into the steel and kill existing rust as well as stop water and oxygen from being able to get in to form new rust. Sounds pretty damn good to me.

Search some of the classic car sites, think you will find most of them stay clear of waxoyl.

There are a few other makers out there such as Dinitrol & Bilt-Hamber who get good reviews.

I used dinitrol Metallic a couple of cans and job done, it's great stuff.

Bilt-Hamber gets my vote, far superior!

by the way, hi Ossian. how is it going

Hi mate, I followed your rebuild, thats a great job you did :). Another Z saved. Hope its all going well now.

And Bilt-Hamber is what I used ( a 5 litre container of it lol) gets my vote as well.
