Cleaning and painting exhaust

well got the exhaust sitting here from the orange zed and as much as I'd like to get a full brand new one its £400 and I just don't have that sort of money this year so gonna clean up mine and put it on. Now cleaning it up is easy I'm fine with that was wondering if there is an paint or that I could put on it to make it a bit better?

    you could try some sperex vht paint but it wont last very long.I used to use it on my motocross bike exhaust and it lasted around 4 race meetings before it burned off...Lee
