:nono:That looks proper hideous. The flares over the arches are reminiscent of the FTO, front grille from and Evo, and back end from a Civic that's been cross bred with a Mazda.

And don't even start me on those tacky LED running lights!

Doesn't look too bad to me, but there are quite a few styling cues which have blatantly been robbed from other cars..

What really interests me is the idea of using a flat 4 for low centre of gravity and the expected kerb weight of about 1000kg. Even with 250 brake its gonna shift. Should handle well too. Its about time toyota pulled their finger out and made a proper FR sports car. All those AE-86's in Japan must have done a million miles by now.

I just hope they don't over tyre the dam thing like every other car on the market these days. When will people realise that tyre profile and progressive break away can actually be good things? But then again, most things are style over substance these days - so I won't hold my breath.

I'd still rather have the new GT-R "Japanese Missile" :gunsmilie:

Me too, but I just thought that was interesting when I saw it.... thought it might be the new pupra!

I'd still rather have the new Lamborghini Aventador...

Don't think the new Toyota is trying to compete with GT-R, i would say it was more in line with a BMW 3 Series, or Nissan Silvia etc.

I think the emphasis of it is supposed to be the handling rather than whether it can do 0-60 in 3 secs in the wet. Not one for the top trump brigade then.

Good to see more affordable sports cars though, we'll have to wait and see how affordable it is.

I see it as the new Celica, but designed as a more pure sports car.

Its a 2.0 NA Boxer engine, 6speed, rear wheel drive, lightweight 2+2.

Whats most interesting about this is, its its concept. What you buy is a basic bare sports car, with tuning/modifying in mind.

Yeah I like that and nice to see Toyota getting into something sporty again
