changing disks and calipers to skyline gt r32

my car is a 93 modell tt,was wondering which year skyline brakes i need to upgrade to. ive just priced 1981 skylineGTR32 which is supposedly the last year made and they sound too cheap. has the shop made a cock up.thanks everyone

The r32 has the same system on our car, as it is, so that would not be a good idea.

What you want is the R33 onwards system.

It bolts straight on.

There is a huge difference in the size, 328mm

I had a R33 kit fitted. It is an AP racing kit, got it from Grasshopper. You will need 18 wheels as well. Get the braided hoses from The Z Centre. Luke and Johnny are very helpful. You are looking at a few Grand though!

The result: fantastic stopping power, although lots of brake dust, so must keep the new wheels clean!

How easy is it to get good quality discs and pads for the 328mm Skyline setup?

Is it a lot more expensive than quality(heat treated) 300ZX 280mm discs?
