just a quick Q about EGR

i made a make shift vac pressure system

and i have a slight leak from the egr

but as i can not remove it now as its at the back of the engine and would be a bitch to replace/remove it so i thought about disconecting Vac and blocking off these pipes

and next time i have the engine out i will remove it completely

 

is there any problems in blanking the EGR off ?

 

my plan is to fill hole with loads of silicone resin ? unless u have other ideas

    Should be Ok but there is also a pipe going the pass side downpipe that will need to be capped off.

    yeah i thought about that but i can not get to it ... as its inder a heatsheild ...

     

    it should be ok if the egr is in the closed state ... right ?
