I picked one of these up a while back and now i,ve been running the car abit and i,m happy all is well i thought i,d better fit the chipped ecu and play with the boost controller , after a few runs and increasing it gradually i settled at 12psi , FOOKING WOW :scared::scared: , the cars felt faster as a manual anyway but this has put it in a different league !!

One very happy middle aged pot bellied bloke ! lol

LOL i,m not too sure of the peramiters of this chip so didn,t want to over do it but that sounds like it could be fun :w00t:, i need to contact Jeff really and find out :blushing:

ive had the same one. rated at 1 bar, ie 14 psi but with good intercoolers 15/16 is fine, jeff told me this.

I've also got a zedworld ecu in mine... goes very well indeed for a near-standard Z. Cant wait to start fitting my upgrades :thumbup1:

makes a BIG difference with the right settings and 15 psi, feels like a rocket in comparison to stock boost.

im buying one off ZX-TT, does it really make a difference?, ive got aftermarket intake and exhausts, also i have 1.0mm boost jets, do i need a boost controller instead?, what does the ecu change do?

Manages the turbos better and let's it go up to 1 bar

 

I've got that set up and when it working fine it's like a rocket.... I always say though, the best boost controller you've got is your right foot !

if you fit the ECU you will need to get rid of the jets and use a boost controler

the jets are a fixed "boost" and can not be turned up and down like a profec B for example ..very handy to drop the boost when your caught in the rain etc and great fun to put to 15psi when you want to rub Mr Porsche's nose in it :)

You wont belive the difference!!!:devil:, Boost controllers are found on e-bay or on here for sale, get the best you can afford!!! hks, apexi, profec are all good

Took it up to 14psi today , lets say it,s enough for me :thumbup1: Don,t want to overdo things and break something .

Chris your far better off having an electronic boost controller , you can set peramiters on it to stop it overboosting ( spiking ) and melting your engine !

I,m using a Gizzmo ebc , very easy to use and set up :thumbup:
