I've been trolling through the forum for an answer to this but I'm still a little unsure. Hopefully someone can clear things up..

I am having an engine rebuilt which should hopefully produce around 500bhp. I've been considering a dual intake set up.

From what I understand, the only proper way to do this is to use two MAFs and use the selin maf translator.

However.... I will be using an AEM EMS. Does this Make the redundant? In which case, I only need a doolz style pipe and an extra filter?

Thanks

Sorry, thaat last section should read, 'make the MAF redundant'

If you're gonna be running the MAP sensor through the AEM then yes, you can get rid of the air flow meter and fit a doolz kit.

Happy days. Ok, if I am running the newer style Z1 dual intake, ie this:

Where is the best place to locate the MAP sensor?

Jimmer where do i get a PAM sensor from as i am running AEM also and need to get shot of the MAF when it comes to getting the AEM mapped

THe map sensor should be located after the throttle bodies in the plenum,i tapped a thread into an egr blank and placed it there.

Ah, that's clever.
