Quick Q about pin 44 on the ECU

When connecting the nuetral switch to Pin 44 on the ECU do you splice into the wire or cut and join the new wire to it?

Cheers

Either or its probably easier to strip a little of the sheath back on the wire and solder it to the bare wire beneath, then seal with some insulating tape.

+1 :)

Never been fond of leaving pin 44 earthed as such when doing a manual conversion, if the neutral switch is not working or just not wired in I think its best left disconneted otherwise the ecu always things your in neutral.

The slightly raised tick over can be compensated for anyhow and provided you know to read 25deg btdc when checking the timing its not an issue.

I won't be Jeff, I'm wiring the neutral switch to the ECU via the correct socket.
