Yeah also, don't leave a soldering iron turned on, on the floor, while Mikey Bean is rolling around under your car with a grinder, because he WILL roll onto it and then dance around like a little girl :D

Don't touch the pointy end on a soldering iron, it never turns out good :crying:

its even worse when its plugged in:online2long:

never check if the iron is hot by using your finger's, i did this once and will never ever do it again, skin stuck to the iron lol

spit on it, you will know then if it's hot lol

I once ironed my shirt when I was wearing it!! lol.....Only the front bit though :(

(Never again!!!) Nearly burnt my nipple into oblivion!! Ouch!

well you know that instinctive reaction to catch something when it falls, well don't do it with a iron that your ironing a shirt with, leaves a nice iron impression on your hand for about 2 weeks while the skin heals lol

Never weld sitting down with your legs directly under the area to be welded - set my overalls on fire doing just that last year :oops:

I've discovered another top tip today as well;

Don't stab yourself in the hand with it either. It tends to melt your skin instantly :blink:

Really need to take more care, it's just pure luck that I haven't killed myself yet :lol:
