Yeah, I'm sure Jeff said that the you can't get the probe down the coil pack far enough and you have to strip the gun down.

have you tried the little loop on the PTU cable? some say it works, other say it doesnt, but give it a try, as it doesnt cost anything. but in short, your going to get a better result with a light gun doing the timing.

I have used the loop in the past with an induction timing strobe, worked perfectly, checked it the next day with conzult and it was bang on...

No, a Conzult cannot set the timing. You can use an ordinary gun as long as you can connect it to the plugs - difficult as they are about 20cm down in the head. You can also use an induction gun, as long as you use the little timing loop and not the main cables to the coils.
