Auto diagnostic...?

 

Hi all,

 

I tried to run the auto diagnostics as advised yesterday, ignition on, into 1st, O/D off, depress accelerator and release - nothing happened :-(

 

Am I doing it wrong or do I assume that the test circuit isn't working....?

    make sure you're on the right pages/s; there's a lot more to it than that.

     

    Make sure you're in the AT section (Automatic Transmission). Pages 45 onwards have the instructions for getting into self diagnosis mode and the meanings of the different codes.
