Got a strange one here.

Someone I know has an auto NA 1991 and he's having a problem with his gearbox.

In a nutshell when he starts it up puts it in drive it seems to jump into second gear thus stalling the car. After doing this a couple of times the fault seems to go away for a while

Any ideas or is it a new box time for him

if it tries to pull away in second sometimes check all the connector and TPS setting

Sorry for been a **** but what is a TPS :blushing:

its the bit with wires and bolted on the passenger side throttle body. :)
