Help required with front Bushes

Hi All,

I recently discovered drops of what can only be described as a gooey oil on the driveway under the drivers side front of the car. Took the car to my garage today who examined the area and showed me that the front bush had split and was leaking from it. are these expensive? I know you can get replacement poly bushes but i want to know if it's better to fit these or go for the stock oil filled ones?

can anyone send me a link for ebay to a pair of these?

Cheers

Peter

Ask Mr F mate it's front tension bar bushes your after. There was a problem with old ES poly bushes being to stiff and actually tearing the lower wishbone where they bolted on. This problem has been sorted so you will be OK with poly ones now. I used whiteline ones that I got from Zcentre and they are fine.

HTH

Oem are more expensive and the goo, you see is silicone leaking from the bush, this happens when the material breaks down and dies lol

Poly bushes are cheaper and as said are now a fine replacement, so its down to your choice really.

Or adjustable tension rods..............

Yep, that's another option. Need to keep them well greased though.

The red ones are adjustable!

The yellow ones I'm running at the mo' no problem (yet)
