just picked up my car from the mot station and its failed on head light bulbs, now i thought ok i will let the mot station stick some new ones in but apparently they cant find them any were or there supplyers! its the dip beams, on the side of the bulb its got piaa 12v55w its a signal filament with two pins coming out the back is this standard? il try get a pick up in a bit.

H3c dipped mains, IIRC...

That's the one, thanks for clearing that up, bloody garage bet they couldn't be bothered to do it.

I could not get them anywhere over the counter when I needed one e bay was the only place.

likely most motor factors wont stock hc3 e-bay or mjp is the way forward :)

Use a H3 and use a couple of inches of wire to earth to the bulb holder housing, that way you never have to try and source H3C's again. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=27029

H7 fits perfectly I think. If you're talking about the round lights that operate when your headlights are on dip, I just bought an H7 HID kit and the bulb fits perfectly. Before that I replaced the bulb with a standard H7 from Halfrauds.
