Hi folks, I have three cars needing paint jobs and my usual spray guy has retired so I have a problem. Does anyone know a good painter at reasonable money in the South Yorkshire area???????? Must be able to do specialist work though, ta.

Hi Davvy66 another Doncasteronian, there are quite a few on here now.

There is a guy in Bentley called Eric, he's done some work for me before years ago and seemed pretty good. I was going to bare metal my car after the sills were done, but now I just want the sills blown in until Winter and I'll bare metal it then, so should be able to let you know how good he is in a few days/weeks.

I get my car back tomorrow morning hopefully and will be going to book my car in with him, but I have a trip to London next week for 3 days and I'm taking the car, so may not get done until the very end of June, early July.

Hi Hollowpoint

I'm in Bentley myself, could you point me in the right direction so I might get an idea on costs, cheers.

Heading into bentley from town, there is a small industrial estate on the right, just before you go over the railway bridge, in there are headmasters, a few car yards etc. and in the first set of units you see on the left, think he's in the first or second unit, a guy with horsey teeth (Not being mean, he just has) called Eric. Tiny little unit, but been there decades and from what I gather, does a good job at more than reasonable prices.
