Tire size change?

I currently have 225/45/17 which are lame as i get hardly any grip. I am looking to change it to 245/45/17. Would there be any problems with the speedo, i tried using some calculators and they say its about 2.8% difference.

    A little potentially, but it would normally give you less tyre wall flex as well and has various other benefits, including your speedo being more accurate.
