have no idea about injectors other than the fact they flow more fuel, now which is the better option

555cc injectors or 740cc and why.

car will be running supporting mods to run upto 550hp. but want to aim more in the region of 510-520ish with live mapping.

Just need help on which of the two larger injectors i'm going to need and why.

but would there be any issues with 740?? do the flow more fuel constantly ie use more than necessary, ive been advised on the 555s but from what ive read from america most guys use 740s and end up with huge hp numbers, saw a guy with similar setup to mine put down 540RWHP using 740cc...... (race gas too )

just want to make the best choice, from knowlege rather than suggestion. ( not saying you have poor knowledge)

They will flow more than needed, I sometimes had flooding issues wth the 740's and lumpy tickover. If you want 530 ish then you should be ok with 555s

wwwwwwwwwwwwwooooooow ie . looking forward to meeting him in person now. will be live mapping mine too.

Stick with the 550 for your application mate, 740s just overkill and likely to be a very slightly worse idle.

can get some delivered from concept Z in america for £350 all in. looking at paying 200-250 ish for 2nd hand ones or will just buy from the states.

Yeah i hear ya CZP does send parts in rather cheap :) some people seem to forget that when pricing their 2nd hand parts though

I personally wouldn't go with JECS Coolq. I know of two injector failures in RB25DET's. One in an R33GTS running there 555's @410bhp and another in a s14a running there 740's @507bhp

I am going Deutchwerks 740's for my RB25DET.

Thats just my opinion though:smartass:

After much consideration I have bought some off this seller on ebay - you might want to consider - not bad for the money I thought

Hope I have done the right thing - all in £300.00

No problems in buying from, FYI I did have to pay £34.00 import tax on top though :cursing:

if you have a 95 or 96 year car

Yes I am aware of that - just used that link from the seller as a guide for you.

If you look out in the future they may have some injectors for earlier models :cool2:
