well im in the middle of removing my AIV carbon Canister and the PVRP thingy but im stuck.

 

when removing the passagner side AIV it say the bottom fuel vapour pipe below the boost pipes goes to the cross bar however mine does not it comes from here:

and goes to here just under the TPS

And the cross bar where it is meant to go goes to a solid pipe (at end of screw driver)

now do i just blank off the pipe in the secound photo and leave the pipe in 3rd photo as it is if that makes sense????

It looks like your confusing the AIV with the Carbon Canister mate.

 

Last photo is the balance bar feed for the CC, it also connects to an air inlet on the pass side throttle body. these will need to be capped.

now you tell me :lol: does that mean i also need to block of the pipe below the TPS in photo 2?

That bottom pipe looks to be part of the throttle cooling lines. The one you want is at the front bottom of the throttle body. But I'm getting confused now lol

Had a thought; That pipe may be the start of a hard line that runs to the rear of plenum and then connects to the balance bar. If so then you can remove it.

 

It's been a while since I did mine so i'm struggling to remember, sorry.

im planning to soon but i need a new plenum really as some of my threads holding the coil packs in are shoot!!!!

 

RIGHT THE ******* THING WONT START!!! it did start first time but a cable was hitting the fan so i knocked it off quick but now it wont start! any ideas???????

its ok i fixed it i knocked a plug off! all done now and it seems to go a lot better!
