What have people done with the oem gearbox mounts when they fitted the Japspeed decats?

 

Reason I ask is that they are missing the mounts completely. Being about an inch or so above them :confused1:

i didnt use those mounts when i fitted my decats. just removed them from the box. the system is still rock solid though:)

 

Think that might be my only option mate. Unless I make a bracket up.:hammer:

i suppose you could. just tonight i helped hollowpoint fit his decats too. 1 side had the bracket and 1 didnt. when all bolted on there was no difference in strength between the two. im sure its there for a reason but i really cant see it making any difference

 

It might be a another case of over engineering by Nissan, I'll give it a go without mate :thumbup1:

Put them on today, without the mounts and they are solid bud :thumbup1:

 

I'll have to find other ways to taunt you now :lol:
