Hey Guys,

Was wondering many people out there claim their z's engine was rebuild. However how would you be able to tell if an engine was rebuild or not, when your buying a z??

paper work and a contact number of the place that did it would be a good start.

at least you can check with the company that supposedly did it.

My engines are all silver but that doesnt prove anything really tbh.I do supply pics of the engine in various stages and car having it removed to give owners a good record.look at details of what work was done and what was used to see if list is credible and of course who did it Lol.

yeah i guess that is the only way, i was thinking more along the lines of something you can see when you look at the engine. I guess best way would be to see all the paper work.

Any one can clean up the engine externally to look like new lol, but the internals might be shot for all anyone knows.

im rebuilding mine and dont see the point of spraying it as it will get dirty in no time anyways so tbh i think receipts might be the only way mate.

Yep, unfortunatly there's not going to be any external visual evidence of internal changes.

Have to be careful with Paperwork too, depending on the date of when it was done - that engine/parts may not nessasirly still be in the car.
