headlamp problems

my offside xenon has failed so i replaced it wth a normal filament bulb, but when i switched it on it didmt work, the fuse is fine, i took the bulb out to find it had a broken filament so i tried another, same again, it didmt work so i took it out to check and that too now has a broken filament...

 

Whats goin on guys??
