Apparently there are a few different spec one's available so, how much have you guys been paying for them, what stage were they and has anyone bought one mail order that was designed to meet their current spec ??????

Oh and if anyone has got an upgraded ECU for sale any make, i'm interested.

hmmmmm im not sure about that one read a few posts back about the se debate

i think se is having an open day soon on the bank holiday, maby pop by first, i have a mines ecu (yes yes yes i know and a super dragger lol)

jwt in america seems good aswell

What ever you buy, make sure of two things... It at least promises to address the same things as the JWT chip and it's not any superchip type clone. Custom or off the shelf.

BTW - I am not suggesting that JWT is theonly option.

Smithy,

You will get wildly varied responses re SE. My advice would be to talk to Peter Rosenburg and you'll get an honest and informed answer to any question.

I posted details of my SE chip on here and had varied responses but the truth is in the rolling road results and Peter has the original graphs from mine. I am sure he will show you them.

There were a total of about 6 or 7 graphs but the final result was plotted onto the same piece of paper as the original one (i.e. standard chip). This way you can see the difference.

I was there for all of the runs and they were all done within a period of around 3 hours and under exactly the same conditions in terms of load, cooling fans, etc. The temperature remained fairly static. I was there for the whole thing - they're all legit !

Oh and one of them has a huge apparent power drop in the mid range from where the car started wheel spinning at about 120 mph on the rolling road !!!

Email if you'd like any more info.

Dave
