Diff Senors

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?:helpsmilie:

Just putting the final bits back after re fitting the rear sub frame :hammer:and I knocked one of the 2 ceramic sensors off the diff.:taz: (the white one) Where would I go for a replacement?

Thanks in advance,

Unless its leaking you can safely leave well alone, the UK model diff was fitted with temp warning sensor and an external pump and cooler fitted above the diff ( you most likely saw it when doing the brake pipes) in the real world they do nothing and of all the diff coolers we have come across they are always dry ( internally) which suggest the temp required to get them to operate is ( too ) high. On the other side of things the cooler pipes are very fragile and often they fracture on their own or when trying to undo them, best way out is to link them out if this happens.

Cheers Jeff tt:thumbup1:

So as I understand,:blushing: the one I have knocked off is the temperature sensor? (white ceramic in a black body) if I leave this disconnected what should I do with the harness connector? :confused:also will I get some sort of alarm on the dash?:sweatdrop: Sorry to be a pain, it's just that it's been a long haul to date and I don't think I could cope with any more problems.

Thanks again Jeff.

i broke mine off awhile back when doing hycas removal and have not had a light come on yet so i think youll be ok
