Sudesh Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 I'm thinking of changing my phone, I've had the same phone for around 8 years and what usually puts me off changing to another brand is moving all the contacts I have in my phone memory. Its not possible to copy to sim and do it that way as I have a couple of numbers under one name ie, mobile, landline, fax etc, the phone has the capability of sending all contacts, but it seems to only work if the other phone is the same brand; as I'm thinking of moving from Sony Ericsson to Nokia, then I doubt this will work. So whats the best and easiest way for me to send all contacts from my Sony Ericsson to Nokia?? Quote
murt Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 Try installing the Sony Pc software on your pc and doing a backup or something along the lines of that :) Quote
RichardS Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 You should have the option to copy all your numbers from SIM to phone and vice versa. It's dead easy on a Nokia as you go into your address book, select all and copy to the other place. If not, when you upgrade your phone, the guys in the phone shop can usually do that for you. Expesially as you'll get a new SIM with your new phone anyway - if your SIM is 8 years old then it won't be compatible with many of the features on your new phone.....
