Update moving on from this thread :http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=150167&highlight=cam+covers

ย

I have moved on a bit with some of the engine parts that i wanted to paint, my fear was going over the top with the colour, but once its all back together it should be broken up nicely.

ย

Starting off with the throttle cover, i sanded down and smoothed the raised letters and will be replaced with these chrome Nissan letters, i havent stuck them on yet they are just sat on top, i need to do another couple of coats of laquer first. Also im placing a mirrored acrylic strip along the normal black or red strip found on covers.

Everything is just placed on for the pics, nothing is bolted back together yet, i wanted to make sure it looked ok.

lol, hi mate, i know what you mean on the 5 day turnaround, but im not doing a nut and bolt build like you have:bow::bow: and with most of the engine built up out of the car, it will hopefully save a little time.

ย

Im not going to rush it though, if its takes another day or so then so be it, but as my daily driver id like to get it done soon as :winkiss:

ย

How is your build going mate? Ive read your update, but no pics :sneaky2:
