Have both! Big wheels for summer/show season, standard 16's for off seaso /track time.

That's my plan :)

Bigger ones Gaz! You can get some replica ones same as those in the pic - look on ebay for BBS LM's :thumbup1:

Its a shame that the standard wheels are so amall, as i think that they look great, just 2 inches too small............... hang on i've heard that somewhere before...

Well im a lover of nice wheels on a modded or kitted car. They can also look very lush on a standard body, so really its down to how you want it to look or how you want it kept.

I think if you tried bigger wheels and keep the standard ones too, you will have the best of both worlds.

But i cant really make my mind up on a vote as it looks great as it is.

I know what you mean Graham always wanted to keep this one standered but can always put the standered oem alloys on if I change my mind

Your in the same postion as me! Im looking to change the wheels on mine but i do like the standard look also the roads near me are shocking so not sure how well low profile/bigger wheels will cope with driving on crap roads! But im thinking if im only changing the wheels and not the ride height etc then bar my wallet there is no harm done as i can always back to the standard look! So if i was you go for it! And if you dont like it ill have first dib's on your wheels!!!

I have 18" alloys on my black zed on standered ride hight and 25mm spacers on the fronts and have no problems. Plus the stance looks good

Put the wheels off your black one on the shorty. You'll get to see for free how much better it looks. But I too love the oem and standard look of the swb as it is now.

had a nice set of 17's on me Z when i bought it but bigger is always better so went to 18's! every inch counts!

dan.

Just me voted standard then :lol:

I dont think you should. It is a fantastic stock example and i love it. Not many around anymore that are stock and in that condition.

If anything get uk spec rears and job done imo :cool3:

Trust you Dave to throw a spaner in the works:biggrin: vote is 21 to 1

I know exactly what you mean Dave the standered look is best and getting rare and I do have the UK rears on but its not a permanent change I could revert to standered anytime.

Bigger wheels is the best upgrade looks wise you can make and its car show season now been to two this year so far and going to another tomorrow and bigger wheels would make a big difference to look and stance of the zed.

The wheels make or break a car when it comes to looks, and the stocks just dont to it any favours.

Nothing offensive or ugly about the standard wheels, but they dont really reflect the car that they are fitted too. Too small, too plain, weak offsets.

A nice set of 18" alloys transform the car.

Bigger is better 19" for me! I think you car looks great but would look much better with larger wheels!! I have the following;

Front 245/35/19

Rear 275/30/19

They are not much fun in the snow but great now!
