I know my last Z was 500bhp and a manual but I finally got to drive the new one Saturday after 5 months and tbh I was a little disappointed. It felt quite slow, had it on conzult and no faults/ all readings ok, new plugs. What else can I check as I'm sure it should be quicker even thought it's an auto?

Boost pressure with Aftermarket gauge

Compression test

You could even try some 0-60mph , 0-100mph timed tests to check if it is slow or just in your mind.

Take the shit out of the boot and go on a diet... Autos do feel fairly slow, I never thought mine was particularly quick. They are quite refined in a way, smooth power delivery or more relentless power delivery as they dont drop boost through the gears.

Sit it at 10- 15mph and floor it, it'll kickdown into first and then it'll show you its true colours!
