WRT the list of 'stuff', I don't think it's worth me advertising the bodges and sticking plasters used on mine. I think I'll take some tools and set about fitting the bits and bobs I've been meaning to do for a while but haven't had time. And maybe some metal polish for my rims........

Well, my car's protesting, (Just after a renewed my insurance for the year and got my goodies in the post too!!), but I think it'll make the short trip up there.

I live about 5 miles East of Kincardine Bridge. Could be an option for me.

 

BTW guys, just FYI, but plod around these parts are known for being a little 'trigger happy' with their speed guns when there's an event on at Knockhill so take it easy from about 5 miles out hhmmmkay.

kinkardine bridge is definetly the cheaper option for us ayrshire guys the other way add bout 30 miles onto our journey

Had a close call with my zed tonight !

 

Was fitting the rest of my chrome pipes, mainly the two water pipes when the top left

plastic part of the radiator pipe cracked making it very hard to clamp on the new pipe.

 

I eventually went back to the old black fixing to get a good enough water seal; but it

still leaks abit.

 

So i've stuck in some silicon sealant for now to block any air holes and stuck a spare

5 litre coolent in the boot for the strip to knockhill.

 

But the broken bit of plastic is fairly bad and looks like i'll be needing a new radiator.

 

bugger.

Hosed down the zed and gave the alloys a quick clean too.

Saw the kit on zcentre and theres no plastic bits on it to break off so that

looks ok and theres an uprated oil cooler bit to go with it too.
