its the pebbles in teh road you will hit on the front splitter. there is a limit and its not taht far due to camber issues. but honestly most will tell you very little is the right amount to lower. about 20mm. the lowest part on mine is the exhaust, even at standard height most speed bumps are a challenge

yes I understand that but I need to know what will hit on what first Like is there a bumpstop on the wishbones that will bottom out befor I hit the floor/

You could slam it if you want to wreck it. But as said, -20mm is enough, maybe -40mm at a push, but you'd be slamming the car against the road over every little bump. If you want a really low look, try air suspension, then you could raise the ride hight when your driving.

But i dont think theres any issues with bump stops, could be wrong though.

Slamming looks cool, but drives like sh*t and wears tires without a lot of expensive alignment gear. It's fine for America where all they have is flat roads for hundreds of miles, but here we just have to be at one with the fact the roads are cack and your car will end up smacking of the ground 5 times a day.

Lowered mine by 20mm and struggled with scraping...Lots!

Looks great but....

So went back to standard springs...

I still hate speed bumps...

My front bumper sits 105mm from the road in the centre, I cannot go any lower than that :w00t:

It is my exhaust that catches on all speed humps if I am not careful and creep over them, mostly though I think it is a U clamp that sits the lowest and is this that scrapes :mad2:

I have air fitted. The rear goes real low but the front is hitting on something. I'v not been able to look under the car yet to see its just what Iv been told. Just thought it might have a stop somewhere.
