It's not available in every bodyshop but is, IMHO, essential if you want to eliminate any chassis damage. A side impact into a light convertible by a heavier saloon, for example. Best of luck and hope it gets sorted with minimal hassle.

Mate, tbh my zed had worst damage and now i cant even tell if there was any damage at all, so i am sure you could easily fix that. Only expensive part would be if the airbags deployed.

Airbags were not deployed so they were lucky if it had of been head on it would have been more serious mate.

main thing is your daugher is ok ....it looks an easy fix as the bumper sjust pop on and off the whole car was designed to be repairable easily and keep insurance grouping down there is no sill damage so i wouldnt expect any chassis movement plus the vert is stronger anyway due to the lack of roof .....showed the pics to my mate who has abody shop in morecambe he said no issues around 1600 to repair spray and hand back including wheels and tyre.

Cheers Steve, yes no sill damage which is good and £1600 sounds like a good price to fix it.

Just over a month later and Abbie has her car back all fixed and looking good

Cant do that! risk of bore wash :D I get really annoyed if im asked to move my zed, infact I use it as an excuse to go out in it... lol I hate just starting cars to move them!

To many cars so some will be going,I do have the space for at least 15 cars but its the hassel of washing them each week,keeping them taxed and general upkeep.I want to spend more time on my zeds so the two BM's will be going.
