Right, ideas please.

Ive got 2 kids and the focus just isn't big enough for the weekend, shopping, pushchairs etc.

Its great on fuel (TDCI, 50mpg) so i dont want to sell it. In the week, with the missis driving it around, its perfect.

I had my van for work, which went yesterday.

An idea ive got, is to buy a Land Rover Disco.

A nicer one, so i can use it for work, then at the weekend with the family.

That way we keep the focus.

Another idea, is Sell the focus and buy a Zafira. Will do for the family, i'll buy something else for work.

I dont NEED 7 seats, but i go out with my parents on a sunday, so would be usefull.

Any other ideas??

Oh!

Of the 7 seaters out there, that was the one i'd go for..(Well, an S max really, but they cost too much!)

To be perfectly honest, Toyota Estima Emina, 8 seater auto/manual option, seats re-arrange more ways than you can think of, good on fuel, good as a run-around, good for putting big things in, awesome for family outings etc. We only just got rid of ours and the only reason we did, was because the 300 was coming off the road and we needed a reliable, 4 door, 4 seater saloon for Rose to drive to work and ferry the kids around in while I'm away and stuff.

Skoda superb? Dont know your budget. If going new then kia's have 7 year warranty which are always worth a look? There 7 seater has good spec for the price. Secound hand wish disco's rot. You think zeds are bad disco's can need rear boot floor changed, wheel arches, door seals and pretty much the rest of the body! Thats on the 200/300 tdi's not sure on the newer stuff. Shogons? Bmw 5 serious, audi a6, volvo v70 comes with fold away 7 seats as do some of the large merc estste's. If going for zafia stlye i would go seat or vw version as i think there better built than the fords and avoid french crap if it was me

Toyota estima, sorry bud but brilliant vehicles, or the chrysler voyager, or chevy day van/astro van

That's my choice

I can vouch for xc90s as a good diesel vehicle with 7 seats...... I worked at a Volvo specialist for 5 years, only ever had one come in faulty and that was down to a busted intercooler.

Plus they tank on forever if looked after.... If that helps :)

Wayne.

Ford S-Max or if money is not an issue and you can consider the XC90 then why not buy a nice T5 VW Transporter... Not a big van and on ethat the mrs will drive comfortably too? Opt for the Van and Put the rear seats in yourself to seat 6 and for engine options go for the T30 174bhp if you want performance!!...This will hopefully be my next move after baby arrives...
