disconnected pipes

What is this with these 2 pipes going to it. In engine bay by bulk head in front of driver. Ones got a bolt in to block it the other just open. Thanks

    Think there to do with pumping air into your cats or somthing like that. if you have decats on then there should be no need for them. iirc ?

    It does look like AIV vacumn pipes but I cant be sure from those pics, this may help :

    How do you get rid of it all Dave?

     

    My car had cats on but it never had the pipes that go to them. any ideas because i still have the pipes in the engine bay :confused1:

    might be that then the solenoid as a pink spot and a white spot on. Does the removal have any effect on engine/performance.
