Assuming there isn't held on with agrub screw somewhere, wrap a microfibre cloth around it and unscrew it anticlockwise (stock knobs can be tight as feck!)

Cool why a cloth?

tried with my bare hands cant budge it at all!!!

You only need the cloth so not to damage it, when using a pair of stilsons or molegrips.

I had to cut the rubber off mine to get to the metal inner thats got the threads in , it was as tight as a nuns honey pot cos it had threadlock on it .

BTW i was fitting a new one so it didn,t matter that i destroyed it

I ripped the leather off mine unscrewing it, had no choice, but I've put it back on leather-less, and it still looks and feels fine :-) (would be better with the leather on it tho)

I used a cloth so I didn't hurt my precious soft hands LOL!:tt2: :wack: :D
