Hey,

Everyone might know about this, but if not...

I gave it a quick skim before doing my drivers seat, but once you start it's all pretty obvious and straight forward, though VERY time consuming.

I recommend the extended LotR Trilogy to help you through it. Seriously, once you've stripped one seat and re-trimmed another; it makes you feel like Frodo had it easy!!

Nice tip on the cable ties, liked that idea, very helpful.

You really need Circlip pliers, without them you'll be on a week.

On stripping my seat I discovered the main rear bar had snapped, it had been welded at both sides by someone else, it had gone at the weld, so basically it had collapsed. The new seat feels so supportive in comparison.

Oooooh this brings back some memories!!! 2 weeks to do my seats (evenings when ever I could get the time). I also put heating elements in mine!

Katzkins are awesome!

nice guide - I just had photos to follow when I did mine - but once you've had a preview of what to do and get started then it's pretty straightforward from then on.

Here are some random pics from the big event, not in any order really.

I had considered a guide myself, but seems a little pointless given there already is one. Still...maybe these pics will help someone somehow.

I'd like to take this oportunity to thank Vodkashots for the doner seat! :thumbup1:
