Hi all, just installed a blitz turbo timer, , all done correctly , however no ignition, removed the adaptor harness block and returned to normal and all was well, when comparing the harness connectors with the adaptor block it seems there are some differences, ie wire position , can anyone help , is it a case of moving the wire position , if so can anybody explain how best to do it, ???? my car is a 93 tt jap import auto

thanks

Neil

yes all wired correctly, the difference is in the position of terminals in the Adaptor block compared with the original harness

Just to clarify for people, the T Timer was on a black UK auto TT 1990, and worked perfectly before being removed.

The connector in question is the one that plugs into the ignition barrel, and then the ignition loom plugs into the back of it. one of the pins is in a different location to what was on the 1990 TT.

I suppose sayers what i can do, is get some photos of my ignition loom for you and see if the cables match up, though it could also be the fact the speed sensor cable isn't connected so its not registering the speed thus wont let the engine start.
