with a standard clutch?

when my Z has its engine swap soon it'll be about 350bhp, I've been offered a lightweight flywheel at a reasonable price but probably can't afford a brand new paddle clutch until a few months after the transplant.

Would this be ok, and would I see the benefits from a lightweight flywheel? p.s. I'm not fussed about taking the gearbox back out later in the year to upgrade the clutch. :red_indian:

yup, but im not sure what it would do to the clutch, they make a big difference, one of the best mods i did to my zed

will make you have a lul in power when pulling away slowly feels a bit like its gonna stall then quickly pick's up, but you deffo benefit from a good launch

thanks for the input dave, much appreciated

Cheers Al, think I'll get it bought :thumbup1:

Ive got a lightened flywheel, lightweight one piece prop, with a standard clutch, to fit yet, but for an N/A, it will allow the engine to rev quicker and have less drag on the rotation, so although it wont give you more HP, it will feel quicker.

You could always buy it and leave in the shed untill you get your clutch and fit them both together. But if your anything like me, as soon as you get it you'll want to fit it :p

Don't say that lol... I had a Z1 lightweight flywheel and exedy paddle clutch sat in the garage for a year, but eventually sold it to mikey bean. Now I need one :headvswal:

I'm gonna chuck it in whilst the box is out :thumbup1:
