this might sound silly but is there any difference in the bodywork on an 89 model to a 95 model more so with the front wings any information would be much appreciated cheers richard

Wheelbase and track and width overall are different on SWB vs LWB. But within model, I don't think there are any differences. Courtesy Parts does not show any alternates on front fender (Nissan for "wing") http://www.courtesyparts.com/300zx-parts-z32-1990-1996/genuine-nissan-parts/body-front-roof-floor/630-front-fender-fitting/-c-882_883_1000_1004.html whereas if you look at the doors, they do show the three alternates for 2+2, SWB and convertible.

No such thing as silly questions mate - only silly answers!!

As said, the only bodywork differences are between LWB/SWB/slicktop/convertable. The year of the car makes no difference aside from a few cosmetic changes.

The 1995 spec had a different rear spoiler to the 1989 spec; and then the 1999 spec had a different front bumper and yet another rear spoiler change.

As for wings and other panels, they would be the same compared to different years of the same style of ZX.

You are correct (for Jap and Euro spec), but have to be careful when looking at courtesy becuase there are some differences between U.S spec (which Courtesy sell) and the rest of the world.

Not many, but in this case the U.S spec front wings dont have indicator cutouts like Euro and Jap spec does.

There are yearly differences between doors, in terms of seatbelt location (Door vs B-pillar) and side impact bars.

Also the U.S did'nt always get the same changes at the same time as Euro and Japan spec, so cant always rely on an exact model year.
