Yip you have lol! I havent seen or looked at the cars since you called and if I dont make a concious effort to get the TT on the road, I may not see look at it or sit it again for a few months! Bought a car cover for it too, which may have been a bad move, as the less I see of it the less interested I'll be in registering it.

Get it on the road and we could be the first from N.I. to take our zeds to JAE this Summer:thumbup:

Which one did you ask about?

what do you mean which one? The one you are all talking about. Im all over the market on zeds

You have lost me there!

Neither of my 2 Version-S cars are advertised anywhere now. The only one I did have advertised was the N/A car and that sold a few weeks ago.

Yes i am talking about the one in Japan i thought that is what this thread is about???

The confusion was Sudesh had two Verson S for sale also so whats the price of the one in Japan or the price you could sell it at after importing Gonzo?:)

Im not sure if people would understand what a rare model it is so i think anything near 9k would be expecting too much. If someone has an idea what it may be worth over here then i may look at importing it rather than a RX7 as they are really cheap in Japan at the moment and once i sell my spare 2 zeds i will have some spare funds :)

I would guesstimate it would be over 10k before you even import it

I may bring it over then it deserves a UK owner :)

I think it deserves me to look after it - I promise I will ;) :D

I tell you what you dont see much of, the full 99 spec package, I wonder why?

Whats the full 99 spec package?

I have the 99 brochure and I can tell you now, my 99 Version S TT is full spec to what it is in the brochure with factory fitted xenons, in fact it even has the original extra of MD player and upgraded mats.

And I can vouch for it fully loaded and like new :thumbup1:

The specs are different as to the model in 99.

i.e Version-R, Version-S, and standard ZX are all different.

Is that the one that you was selling? or the other one?

That spec I mentioned is on my TT Version-S. The non turbo Version-S doesnt come with Xenons as standard and didnt have the same radio setup, but very possible they could be dealer extras when ordering new.

has it got the skirts?

Side skirts are only standard on the Version-R, along with the boot spoiler and recaro seats and some other bits.

And I can vouch for it fully loaded and like new :thumbup1:

lol You did look very happy sitting in there!

Sudesh is pretty much right. Here's the official source http://www.nissan-global.com/GCC/Japan/NEWS/257a.html

This is the Series difference table http://www.300zx.org.uk/model_variations.htm but there is no clear table for 300ZX vs Version R vs Version S.

And here is the 1999 brochure http://jccc.web.fc2.com/japanese/nissan/fairlady-z-z32-199905/index-en.html which I am sure makes everything clear between the different models in that last year (at least, if your Japanese is up to scratch :D )

SWB

NA Version S

TT Version S

LWB

NA 300ZX

NA Version R

NA Version S

TT 300ZX

NA Version R

NA Version S

From looking at the pics in the brochure (which is not infallible. I should know, I used to do the UK brochures for Kawasaki hoho.) it looks as if the rear spoiler and sill protectors were only standard on Version R and the SWB was a slicktop, the Xenons were TT standard.

But there were a lot of options so shouldn't be surprised to see these features turning up on some but not all 1999 models.

The really odd thing about 1999 spec is that it was not just a simple cosmetic facelift to extend model life a bit. Look at the press release "The body stiffness of all model grades has been increased by using thicker structural members, resulting in a firmer driving sensation. ... a larger floor tunnel member. " and "increasing the size of the brake master cylinder and changing the booster characteristics ". All this for the last year of a car in which they only expected to sell 1,200 units in total?

Changing structural members is non-trivial so I wonder why they bothered just for one last year of production.
