Folks

Where can I find the chassis number? I thought it would be easily visibile in the engine bay but couldn't seem to find it! Checked the doors too but nope...

Anyone know?? Need to provide to bodyshop so they can source a replacement panel.

Cheers

Supposed to be on a plate (up near the nose panel IIRC)

On your VIN plate on the slam panel in engine bay, also on your V5 reg document.

If its a UK it will start with JN1 and be about 16 chars long.

If its Jap it will be shorter, prob start with GCZ32 , but dealers usually wont recognise Import numbers.

Aha! One of the downsides of trendy carbon fibre radiator thingies. No Vehicle ID plate!

also on the wall behind the power assistant unit.... stamped

I was so worried I'd talked b0ll0cks, I just went out and looked. Couldn't see the plate on the wall. But the VID plate is definitely on the panel in front of the rad. On the left. Under that trendy black plate on sumshiftyguy's car - maybe it's still there?
