what a pig of a job but i managed it, thanks to everyone who gave me tips, ready to fit the driftworks kit but may i ask why is there 4 nuts that dont fit anything?

  • Author

the passenger side took about half hour the drivers side took about 2 hours

so whats the 4 nuts that dont fit anything for in the driftworks box?

Me and Dan found this out yesterday and didn't fit those 4 nuts to mine. Guess you can fit them to the arm if you need to extend it out a bit but it was bloody tight anyway so we didn't use them... We we're short on washers but seems we both only got 4 each in both our kits!

yeah lot of money for not a lot really but still does the job mate

Yeah thank god we did it on a group buy thanks to dannzx and got it a bit cheaper... Nice that the track rod end arms are bigger tho and it is a quality piece of kit. Just a pain in the arse to get the old ball joints out even with dans special tool! Took Dan about 2 hours to get those out and then only 20mins fitting the driftworks kit! That's the trouble with ball joints that have been on the car for 20 Years!!!
