I have a doubt about the 300ZX Plain Headlight Panel in Z centre; I spoke to Luke this afternoon and mentioned him I actually have in my Z the european panel wich comes with that Nissan logo hamburger; what i don´t understand is; the panel is plain, so this means the Z logo goes on there as adhesive sticker?

I recall the US Panel for 99 comes with a hole just to fit plain the Z logo; but according to Luke this Z logo is like a sticker...I am a bit confused on this...

I think Luke has the smooth plain panel, which is an aftermarket copy and not an original Nissan one. The original Nissan plain panel has 2 pin holes for the badge to attach and i think the UK one has the holes but also the panel has a round indent in the panel for the badge to sit flush. So Luke is saying that the Z logo badge is a stick on for the plain panels he sells. HTH

True, jap one has 2 securing holes, the uk has the nissan logo recessed into the cover, so it appears smooth, but is only raised a couple of mm's

I see...and where can I get that Nissan one that fits the Z logo? or..according to you guys; wich one would you get?

Personal preference really, but if you want a UK one with the recessed logo, put up a wanted ad, i think vodkashots is breaking a UK too.

I would (imo) stick with what it is Nissan badge for Uk and Zed logo for Import

I smoothed mine out when it was resprayed. prefer it without any logo TBH :)

Its meant for people who want the plain look. My personal favourite.

 

If you wanted to stick the Jap Z logo on there, then you could do. Its a Plastic badge, that stick in place and is located with two pin holes. Easy to drill.

 

The Nissan logo is recessed into the nose panel originally.

 

Either go Plain or Z badge, in my opinion. They are definatly the better looking options.
