I think that since you saw a private number you didn't answer :innocent:

Yeah could be somthing like that. we have caller ID so we dont answer if we dont know the number

I just got mine from America for very cheap, but i know someone is going to start selling them here soon, so im not going to tread on anyone's toes :)

Thats good Steve I have one for each of my two zeds but a lot of zed owners dont have them and they have been impossible to buy lately and at that price they would make a good spare.

Damn right! But now I've bought the car I'm skint lol.

Ordered :)

Gonna keep hold of it till I do my resto' this winter - gonna be needing a full lock set then so no point wasting it ;)

Dont see what the fuss is over key myself? Is the key you have not good enough, unless the titanium one gives the car 10bhp extra or make girls follow you like the Lynx advert...

The secret is out then - who told you :detective:

Over the years these cars have had things lost, items taken off, parts damaged or just worn out, it is a case for me and I am sure others to just put these back and all goes to make the car and it's history complete for your own piece of mind and is a nice touch for the buyer if you ever come to sell it on

  • 1 month later...

I finally got round to getting my keys cut

Titanium one is a touch harder than the black and red one but my key cutting guy sorted it first time, also no going back with the others, all worked a treat. £5 each for the cutting - I am well chuffed.

Turns out my spare on a cheap Nissan blank was in fact the valet key, so I did have both but now I have the full compliment of keys - all spot on :thumbup1:

they did the titanium key to take your mind off the crappy tweed they gave it.

i cant understand who was sitting in the board meeting and went "i know, tweed interior, it feels like crap and looks even worse, that will do"

Come on!, want the 300 designed in japan, the same idiots who come up with daft games like pokemon? and a bloody ape that throws barrels at a stupid pizza guy with a red hat? :winkiss:

I'm going to get abuse for this, but I actually like the tweed!

spelling

I like the black tweed, not too keen on the grey but it's not 'bad'.

*edit* My key still hasn't arrived, but the guy is looking into it and may have a UK distributor soon ;)

Just checked my emails - d'oh!

The tweed's fine. But I bet I can beat your key cutting prices. Local Timpson's in Burnham wouldn't charge anything because I didn't buy the blank from him. No charge, he said, just stick something in the charity box. Blimey. And yes, it was one of these new titanium OEM copies.
