Hi guys my 300 has been off the road for 18 months and during this time fitted a new speed sensor as mine was knackard seized up solid (No pas or speedo). I have now got it road legal again pas seemed to work but still no speedo, And after just 80 miles the pas seems to work intermitantly or not at all. Seems to work fine when first started? Car wants to stall sometimes too when stopping from speed any help would be greatly received.:hammer:

The power steering is affected by the speedo not working, usually the circuit board on the back of the speedo will have dry joints, which will need resoldering, but still no garuantee that it will work after that, just the usual fix needed 8 times out of 10.

You also have a power steering sensor on the rack which may need a clean and as Paul mentioned, if its been stood for that long, check and clean all the sensors, temp sensor a likely culprit in rough running.
