Hello all,

When I drive at around 60 mph, the rear of the car begins to vibrate, this goes away at 65mph and comes back when the car does about 90mph?

I replaced the propshaft and purchased a new one together with the bearing from Nissan and paid over £1,100, so I can count this out.

The car is on an N plate and approaching 100,000 miles on the clock.

Can anyone please tell me what this could be, or what to look for/replace?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks

Saif

Worn hicas arms, buckled/out of balance wheels, gearbox mount.

You do realise that you could have bought a single piece prop and done away with the bearing for about £250....

I know it sounds stupidly simple, but what about wheel balancing/ differing wear on your tyres/ buckled wheel?

The prop could need turning 180 deg if its out of balance slightly, or i would get the rear wheels balanced and tracking done.

I have a 1995 zed and have the same problem. I've had it to numerous garages and no-one can seem to figure it out. Got new wheels all fully balanced, new suspension, all the links checked over and there is no play at all.

The one thing i will say though which was strange. When the car was in the bodyshop they jacked it up and took the wheels off to the front nose. It was in the air for a week and when i got it back the vibrations had almost completely stopped?? They are now starting to return slightly :(

All very strange?
